Close your eyes and picture this: you're flying high above the vast emerald sea of the Amazon rainforest. There are no buildings, no roads, no signs of civilization - just nature in its wildest, most sacred form. As the plane carries you deeper into the jungle, something begins to shift. The world gets quieter. Your breath slows. Your heart softens.

This November, we invite you to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime journey into the heart of the South-Central Amazon. We’ll be welcomed by the Sapara people—a kind, wise, and courageous community living in deep relationship with the land. Their way of life is threatened, yet their generosity and willingness to share their healing traditions remains strong. To spend time with them is an honor. A privilege. A homecoming.

Manari Ushigua, Sapara shaman and spiritual leader

✨  What you can expect

November 3rd:
Arrival in Quito

We begin on Tuesday, November 3rd, in Quito. As your flight arrives—no matter how late—someone from our nearby hotel will be waiting to greet you and get you settled. You’ll rest there for the night before our adventure begins.

The next morning, we’ll head south along the majestic Avenue of the Volcanoes, with Ecuador’s breathtaking peaks on either side. When we arrive in the town of Shell, we’ll board small bush planes and fly straight into the Amazon. From the moment you step out of that plane, you’ll know—you’ve entered sacred territory.

You’ll be greeted by the Sapara with a traditional tobacco cleansing ceremony, receive a Sapara name, and have your face painted with vibrant achiote. Then, a quiet canoe will carry you downriver to our jungle base camp.

🌱 Immersion in the Amazon
November 10th-14th:

This is not a tour. This is an invitation to slow down, open your heart, and remember your connection to something ancient and alive. Over these five days, you’ll experience:

  • Medicinal plant walks with Sapara elders

  • Cleansing rituals and sacred tobacco ceremonies

  • Teachings on the dream world, with personal dream interpretation

  • A traditional Ayahuasca ceremony on November 5th, led by Manari Ushigua

  • Two additional plant medicine ceremonies led by June.

These are intimate, respectful, and powerful experiences.  Healing, connection, and deep remembering stirring inside you.

💧 Integration at the Spa
November 8th & 9th

On November 8th, we leave the jungle by plane and head to the healing town of Baños, known as the gateway to the Amazon. You’ll stay at a beautiful spa resort, where hot baths, local legends, and mountain air invite you to reflect and restore. Trust us - you’ll be grateful for the hot shower and soft bed.

This is your space to begin integrating all that’s happened.

🏁 The Journey Home
November 10th

On November 10th, we’ll gather one last time for an integration circle, then make our way back to Quito. You’ll share one more meal with the group before catching your flight home that evening (get your flights for after 10pm on the 10th)—or early the next morning if you choose to stay an extra night.

Either way, you won’t be the same.

“You can take the people out of the jungle, but you can’t take the jungle out of the people.”
— June
